Once again, the Fox family and friends, loaded up our trailer with hay ... bundled up warm ... strapped on the 5 gal. container of hot chocolate ... gathered up our "friend gifts" and headed out into the neighborhood singing and dropping off goodies. As we go from house to house ... people join on ... and the trailer gets filled! It's a tradition we do every year. This year it was a little different. It was COLD! (The hot chocolate came in handy.) Half way through the hay ride, it actually started to snow! At first we thought it was rain ... after all ... it never snows here! But sure enough, there were flakes landing on our blankets and jackets. (They melted right away ... but it added to the Christmas feeling.) After we were done singing and basically frozen, we went back to our house and had a pizza party with all those who were with us. Christmas just wouldn't be Christmas without this fun tradition! We, of course, will do it again next year!

After a rocky start, Tavin's high school team has finally had their first win! It is only their second home game so it wasn't time to panick ... but now ... no worries. Tavin did awesome of course. He got lots of play time. And of course his mom was sitting in the stands - camera in hand - embarrassing him as much as possible. Haha His life has now become consumed with basketball. Everyday after school he has practices. Even after the game ... some of his team members got together to play that evening. And I must say, I am really enjoying watching these games. Way to go Big T! Way to make your #1 fan proud!

Christmas is fast approaching and I have realized ... I have so much left to do! We really thought we were ahead of the game. We set up all the kids Christmas trees in their rooms before Thanksgiving. Our house lights were put up even before that. Our two family trees were set up Thanksgiving weekend. We were doing good ... and then we stopped! But I am ready to get moving. I finally finished Dad's Christmas cards he is sending out to 200 business contacts, family members and friends. Now it is time to get my own Christmas cards out, finish my shopping, do some baking, and of course ... have fun! Christmas is our families favorite time of year. Even with all the busyness ... we still enjoy the season together creating memories and spending time together as a family.
